Events

Each section of the photo archive is divided into events. A single event typically will contain all the images from a single photo opportunity, press release or event. For example "35th Annual Student Academy Awards Reception and Ceremony," "80th Academy Awards Telecast," and "An Academy Tribute to Jimmy Stewart."

Our Photos Grouped by Event page will show you all of the events in a section (new events are always shown at the top of the list). This is the best way to get an overview of the available images, and makes it easy to find photos from a specific event.
